Video content is not going to be going out the door anytime soon.

It’s no secret that video content has become the bread and butter of social media. Very quickly the teen app, musically, turned into the marketing megabeast we know as TikTok. Once that app blew up, similar apps such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Youtube scrambled to catch up. Now we have Reels and Youtube Shorts in the game – but in the end they’re all pretty similar!

Where can you make an impact?

With video content peeking around every corner, it’s hard to know where you can make a splash. Research shows that the easiest place to gain traction at this moment is Youtube Shorts. It’s the least saturated platform, and the algorithm works much differently than TikTok and Reels.

If you have an active youtube channel at this time, then you really have an advantage here! Brands are actively growing on Youtube thanks to reels right now!

Video content doesn’t have to be intimidating…

We get it – you don’t want to have to do a little dance or lip sync to grow your brand. Good news… you don’t have to! There are plenty of ways to create video content that doesn’t involve dancing, but regardless of your style of content, it’s important to have an understanding of trends. Trends move quickly on all platforms, with TikTok being the frontrunner. Did you know that on average, it takes about two weeks for a trend from TikTok to go viral on Instagram Reels? (You can totally use that to your advantage when translating your content to multiple platforms.)

Keeping up with the latest trends can be overwhelming, but that’s why we’ve created a list of video ideas to help you ease your way into creating content. Rest assured, you don’t need to be a videographer or professional creator to make these ideas come to life.

Let’s get into it!

  1. Reintroduce yourself, your team, or your brand
  2. Share 3-5 of your favorite business tools
  3. Highlight your product or service offerings
  4. Show where your business started vs. where it is now
  5. Ask a customer to create a short video reviewing your product/service
  6. Answer a frequently asked question about your brand
  7. Hop on a trending audio and relate it to your niche
  8. Debunk a myth about your line of work
  9. Shout out a few businesses that you love working with
  10. Recap your last few months of client work

Our best piece of advice? Don’t be afraid to try something new. It can be scary to step out of your normal content creation box, but it can pay off tenfold! You never know what random video might be the jumpstart to your video content virality.

There you have it – 10 simple video ideas you can create for your brand today. We hope this, along with this other knowledge, was helpful and we can’t wait to see what you create!
